North America
In North America, trees have been felled for centuries for use in industry as fuel, as material for further processing, and to acquire agricultural land. The forests were huge, and the Americans did not perceive this as felling their trees as a potential problem, but today there is a growing awareness that it may have an impact on the continent’s rising temperatures and thus both drought and floods. The North American forests are growing again and together we can accelerate this trend.
